STORY

At the beginning, the game follows the same story as the movie then it has been separated into two campaigns: one is

where Frodo destroys the ring like the movie and the other one is where Sauron manages to find the ring and kill

everyone including Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Frodo.

WALKTHROUGH

TRAINING


You will start as Warrior. Use WASD/LS and follow your allies until you reach the enemies. Then use Left Click/X for

lighter attack, Middle Mouse/Y for medium attack and Right Click/B for heavy attack and clear the enemies. Another

group will pour in, use Left click, Left click, Left click, Middle Mouse, Middle Mouse, Right Click/X, X, X, Y, Y, B to

perform a combo and kill them. Then use Shift + Left Click/ LB + X for Fire Strike, Shift + Middle Mouse/LB + Y for

Whirlwind Sweep and Shift + Right Click/LB + Y for Flame of Fury and kill the remaining enemy troops. Remember using

these attacks will deplete your energy bar.

Then use F/RT to pull out your axe, lock onto the nearby target and throw the axe to kill them. Clear all the enemies

before moving onto the next lesson. You will see a large group of soldiers ahead, use Ctrl + Right Click/ LT + B to

perform Crowd Breaker. Use the combo and kill the remaining enemies. Head to the capture ring and kill the enemies

around it, then defend it until it becomes yours. Go near the ring and press E/RB to switch character to Archer. Use

F/RT for arrows and Left Click/X for kick and kill the Orcs. Then use Middle Mouse/Y for Poison arrow, Right click/B

for Fire arrow and Ctrl/LB for Multiple arrows and kill remaining the enemies.

Go back to the capture point and switch to Scout, Scout can become invisible by pressing Ctrl/LB. Go behind an enemy

and press E/RB to do a backstab. Kill the remaining two and roll under the broken wooden door. Once inside, press Shift

+ Left click/LB + X for Foe Hewer, Shift + Middle Mouse/LB + Y for Foe Hammer, Shift + Right Click/LB + B for Blasting

Powder and F/RT for Satchel Bomb and clear out the Orcs.

Head back to the capture point and you can play as Mage. Just like other characters Mage also have special attacks,

Left Click/X for normal attack, Y for knocking down, B for Fireball, RB for Lighting and LB for healing. Kill the troops in

the area and use heal on your allies. Head back to the capture point to get an option to play as Isildur. Sauron is very

hard to nut to crack, use all the combos you have learned so far and defeat him to complete the Training and start the

campaign.

WAR OF THE RING

HELM’S DEEP

The game starts in Helm’s Deep’s siege, choose Warrior and enter the blue ring. Keep an eye on your allies and defend

the Deeping wall for 1:30 minutes. Then jump into the battlefield and look for the torchbearers, they are marked with

yellow dots in your mini-map. Ignore the attacking soldiers and kill the torchbearers before they reach the main gates,

you’ll lose the battle if you let them pass so you have to kill them very quickly. Once the torchbearers are dead, go back

to the Deeping wall and follow the yellow marker to the next destination.

Head outside and you will see a small area, defend it until the timer runs out. Then go back inside and follow the marker

to enter the hallway, where you have to kill four officers. Don’t attack all at a time, try divide and conquer method. You

can easily deplete their health if you lure them away from the others. After you kill the officers, you’ll get an option to

play as hero. Choose Aragorn and head outside, kill the enemy troops and capture both the posts. Then jump down to the

battlefield and start killing the attacking soldiers. First they will come in small number but later a large number of

soldiers will pour in. Use Whirlwind and crowd break combined with normal attack to get rid them.

ISENGARD

Keep your allies alive and defend the fortress. Then Orc grunts will start attacking at the wall, kill them by shooting fire

arrows at them. Once all the enemies are dead, go to the pits and kill the captain and his troops. Switch to archer and

destroy the war machine, then clear the remaining troops in the lower area and head down to the battlefield. Look for

Wormtongue and defeat him using fire and poison arrows. Grab the key and run up to the Treebeard, kill everyone in

your way and give the key to the Treebeard.

Take control of the Ents and destroy the watch towers. Clear out the enemies near the doors of Orthanc and capture it,

it shouldn’t be that hard if you kill all the troops quickly. Once you capture the doors of Orthanc, you will be given an

option to play as hero, select Gandalf.

Head to the tower and defeat the captain, use firewall to deplete his health quickly. Then go upstairs, where Saurman

will be waiting for you to come and kill him. His hard nut to crack, the strategy is to knock him and then use firewall and

lightening repeatedly. Remember to dodge his attacks; he can make meat out of Gandalf if you don’t dodge his attacks.

RECLAIMING THE MINES OF MORIA


Clear the surrounding area before the next objective shows up, then meet up with Gimli and you will get an option to play

as Gimli, say yes. Now it’s time take on the trolls, run behind them and climb up their backs, then press the appropriate

button shown in the screen to bring them down. Once the trolls are dead, kill the remaining troops and defend your allies

until the timer runs out. Make your way through the stairs by killing everyone in your way. You will eventually reach a

bridge guarded by two trolls, deal with them and pull the switch to complete the objective.

To the right is another stairways guarded by another troll, kill it. Go upstairs and clear out the troops, capture the

capture point and defend it until the timer runs out. Then follow your allies and meet up with Gandalf. Ignore the Orcs

and concentrate on killing Balrog, use lightening and firewall to deplete his health and remember to heal yourself timely.

HOLDING OSGILIATH

The first objective is to defend the fortress, select Mage and run to your allies’ aid. Once the first objective is

completed, the Orcs will start attacking the walls, deal with them just like you did in the second mission. Then go back

to the starting point and you will see some Orcs attacking, kill them. Heal your nearby allies and wait for orders. Once

you got instructions, hop onto a horse and gallop to the battlefield. Kill the Orcs and capture the all the capture points

in the area. You are given an option to play as hero, say yes and retreat to the ramp, where Frodo and Rangers will be

waiting. Protect Frodo from enemy attacks and escort him to the market square. When you reach the market square,

two trolls will attack. Use the same technique we used in the last mission and kill them to end the mission.

IN DEFENSE OF MINAS TIRITH

Wait for the gate to break open and start attacking the Orcs with your charged attacks and combos. Go to the

courtyard and you will see more Orcs, kill them. Once you defeated the Orcs, Orc Warrior and Trolls will attack, kill

them and defend the fortress until the timer runs out. Follow your allies and clear the enemies near the towers, destroy

the towers and head to the next destination. Defend the ring gate until the timer runs out and you will get an option to

play as hero, say yes and head to the next ring gate. Defend the ring and kill the attacking Trolls to end the mission

successfully.

THE CHARGE AT PENENNOR FIELDS

Choose Warrior and rush to the siege tower, kill the Trolls and destroy the towers. Once the towers are destroyed, you

will get an option to fight as hero, choose Legoals and kill the Oliphaunts. Run to the next tower and destroy it, then

head to the rally point and you will get an option to play as Eowyn. Your next objective is to defeat the Witch King,

attack him with charged attacks and combos and deplete his health bit by bit to end the mission. Just remember to stay

away from the enemy troops while fighting him.

THE DESTRUCTION OF MINAS MORGUL

Head to the capture point and clear out the enemies. Wait for the battering ram to destroy the gates and you’ll get an

option to play as hero. Deal with the Trolls and kill the remaining troops near your allies, then gain control on the capture

point and defend it until the timer runs out. Once you gain the capture point, go to the staircase and kill the Orc

Captain, pull the lever and free the prisoners in the dungeons.

Your next objective is to destroy three power sources, which is very tough to play. Head outside the prison and wait for

the enemy troops to come down, lure them to your allies and kill them. Repeat the same technique until the entire area is

clear, then destroy the power sources to end the mission.

STORMING THE BLACK GATE

You are given an option to play as hero in the beginning, select Aragorn or Gandalf and run to the gates. Defeat the two

waves of enemies and wait for the Trolls to attacks, kill them and proceed to the capture point. Clear the nearby

enemies and gain control over the point. Your next objective is to kill four Orc Captains, switch to Legolas or Gandalf

and deal with them from distance. Once the Captains are dead, Mouth of Sauron will attack. Switch to Aragorn and use

special attacks followed by continuous combos to deplete his health to 0. Then follow the yellow marker and capture the

enemy camps, if you are surrounded then use crowd break to deal with them. Once you gain control on the point, Trolls

will begin to pour in. kill them and clear the remaining enemies to complete the campaign.

RISE OF SAURON

MOUNT DOOM


You will start the level as Nazgul, he is as same as the Warrior. Kill the enemies and pull the level near the gate, use

your combos and clear out the enemies in your path. Go down the path and kill the enemies protecting the mask, pick up

the mask and follow the yellow marker to the next destination. Open the gate and go near the throne to end the

objective.

Your next objective is to kill 20 Orcs in the 2 minutes, charge up your attacks and clear the Orcs before the timer runs

out. Then you will be given an option to play as hero, say yes. Look for the Orc grunts and kill them, the second one can

heal himself so be careful and finish him off quickly. Once the Grunts are dead, head to the Sauron’s gate and clear the

nearby enemies.attack Frodo and he’ll try to escape, chase after him and kill him to complete the mission.

THE ORC INVASION OF OSGILIATH

Grab the flare and follow the yellow marker to the Square, clear the enemies near the Square and defend it until the

timer runs out. Then Switch to Mouth of Sauron and head to the battering ram, follow the ram and destroy the

barricades blocking the way. When you reach the destination, use your lightings and firewall and clear the enemies.

Break open the gate and clear the guards around Faramir. Then use your lighting combines with special attack to bring

him down.

THE SACKING OF MINAS TIRITH

Follow the trolls and clear out any enemies in the way until you reach the crown. Kill the enemies with your charged

attacks and grab the crown, go through the hallway and deliver the crown to the Nazgul. After you deliver the crown,

follow the yellow marker and go to the capture point. Then head to the next destination and destroy the barricades.

Switch to Saruman and head to the White Tree, clear the enemies in the area and use firewall and lighting to destroy

the Tree. Then follow the yellow marker and head to the capture point, kill the captains and defend the point to

complete the mission.

THE BLACK PIT OF MORIA

Start as Warrior and climb onto the ladder, use the ballista and clear the enemies near the capture point. Defend the

capture point and follow your allies to the Stonebearer. Defeat the Stonebearer and pick up the stone to complete your

objective. Then kill 20 enemies and take the stone to the Altar. Go through the stairs and head outside, kill the guards

protecting the ballista and use the ballista to destroy the tomb. Head to the next destination and kill the Stonebearer,

kill the Gordorians in the room and pick up the stone. Take the stone back to the Altar and leave it near the statue.

Switch to hero when you are given the option, head towards Gimli and clear the minions near him. Once the guards are

dead, go for Gimli and deplete his health to complete the mission.

THE ASSAULT ON WEATHERTOP

Climb onto the Troll and destroy the buildings, head to the next destination and clear the enemies in your way. When you

reach the spot, use your normal attacks and destroy the buildings and catapults. Then head for the next embankment

and destroy the buildings, then kill the enemies nearby and defend the capture point until it becomes yours. You will be

given an option to play as hero, say yes and select Saruman. Kill the Royal guards and head towards Aragorn, clear the

guards around him and heal yourself if you are running low on health. Go for Aragorn and hit him with lighting, then

follow it up by special attack and normal attack. Repeat this several times and deplete his entire health to end the

mission.

THE FALL OF RIVENDELL

Head down the path and kill the Ent in your way, then take control of the Troll and kill the enemies near the capture

point to gain control over it. Pick up the signal fire and rush to the destination, best if you use scout for this mission.

Light the tower and exit the tower to trigger a cut scene, where it will get destroyed. Stay hidden and destroy the

records in the bookshelves. Switch to warrior and clear the enemies around you, then follow the yellow marker and look

for Elrond. Defeat him and grab the Ring, take it to the destination to complete the objective. Then switch to Sauron

and clear the enemies around you, follow the yellow marker and capture the River House. Kill the remaining enemies and

wait for Elrond and Aragorn to show up, kill both of them to complete the mission.

THE RAZING OF THE SHIRE


Start as Mage or Archer and kill the Ent in front of you, then destroy buildings and clear out the Robbits to complete

the first objective. After that you will get an option to play as hero, say yes and follow the yellow marker. When you

reach TreeBread, use your normal attacks combined with special attacks to defeat him. Your next objective is to lure

Gandalf out, pretty easy actually. Look for a large group of Hobbits and start killing them, then you will get an option to

play as Sauron. Cross the bridge and take care of the Ents, then use your use axes followed by special attacks to kill

him. Gandalf is a mage so make sure you maintain your distance while fighting.
