“Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: Blessed is the man that takes refuge in him” (Psa. 34:8)
“For Jehovah is good; his loving-kindness endures for ever…” (Psa. 100:5)
“Praise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant” (Psa. 135:3)
“Jehovah is good to all; And his tender mercies are over all his works” (Psa. 145:9)
“Give thanks to Jehovah of hosts, for Jehovah is good, for his loving-kindness endures for ever” (Jer. 33:11)
“Jehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him” (Lam. 3:25)
“Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that take refuge in him” (Nah. 1:7)
Little is known of Nahum, but we know that he prophesied of God’s judgment against Nineveh (1:1; 2:8; 3:7)
Nahum has been called “the prophet of God’s other side”
“I will make thy grave” (1:14)
“I am against thee” (2:13)
“I am against thee” (3:5)
