Warren Sloper is this month’s spot-light. He’s new to the medium of com-

ics and the TCJ, but is no stranger to art. Having graduated from Humber in 2010, he’s gone on to become an animator at Sinking Ship Entertainment while making paintings on the side. The children’s program he works on, Annedroids, was nominated for a 2015 Kidscreen Award but right now, Warren feels drawn to the freedom of Comics.

Total control over story, design and pacing coupled with a ravenous love of drawing inspired Warren to create this short, which started out as just a drawing challenge at ConceptArt.org. Here, Warren draws first blood and will definitely be back for more.
