I continue to wonder how the days, weeks and months can go so fast; so it really makes me think just how important it is to make the most of our lives. No matter where we are in our lives, we can look back and see how things have gone up to this point. We, no doubt, see many successes and failures, as well as many days of joy and sorrow. However, the great news is, with the help of God and the ability to refocus on what’s important we can make a whole lot more out of our lives. I consider my own family and how they are growing up. Especially as I look at my kids and see that Nikki and Trey, who were only around 3 and 4 when we moved here are now 20 and 18. Also, little Chase is not so little any more. Most of you welcomed him into the world with us and now he is turning 12 this Saturday. Brethren, we really need to realize just how blessed we are by God and try to enjoy these wondrous blessings from our Creator. There are few things in life as dear or precious as our own families. However, let me add that there are few things as precious as Church family. Those we love and those we can count on no matter what life brings. Brethren, let’s enjoy the blessing of God and make the most of life, as well as the most of every day which God gives us. Isn’t it wonderful to have brother Tom and sister Anita back with us. We are so happy that he is doing so well and that our prayers have been answered. It is also a great blessing to see the continued improvement of our sister Retha. We all love her so much and continue to pray that she regains more strength every day. Our dear sister Dorma’s hip fracture has gotten worse so she is in Ash Grove for rehabilitation. We no doubt have many others who are dealing with health issues. Let’s especially remember sister Reva as she is still dealing with some serious pain with a possible surgery in the near future. Please pick up a prayer list and keep all those with special needs before the Mighty throne of God. Finally, let me remind you that we will once again have the privilege of worshipping God together this coming Sunday morning. I hope that you will all be present and well prepared to give God your very best. There should be no place that the faithful child of God would rather be on the Lord’s Day, than before their Creator’s Mighty Throne, to give Him the glory and honor He is due! I look forward to seeing you all there! God bless. Ray Sullins

My Influence

I am my neighbor’s Bible,She reads me when we meet;

Today she reads me in my home,Tomorrow in the street.

She may a relative or friend.Or slight acquaintance be;

She may not even know my name,Yet she is reading me.

Dear Christian friends and sisters,If we could only know;

How faithfully the world records,Just what we say and do.

Oh, we would make our record plain,And labor hard to see,

Our worldly neighbors won to Christ,While reading you and me.
