MIKE RUTHERFORD

DOUG REEVES

KEN O’CONNOR

Mike Rutherford provides high-value training and development experiences for educators and business professionals through his work as a teacher, speaker, author and consultant. His work focuses on high-performance teaching and learning, leadership development, creating and leading team-based organizations, and results-based organizational improvement. Rutherford has created and developed numerous award-winning educational programs for students, teachers and education leaders including “The Artisan Teacher™,” “Developing the Artisan Teacher™,” “The Artisan Teacher: A Field Guide to Skillful Teaching™,” “Creating the Learning Centered School™,” “LeaderNext™,”

and “Requisites of a Leader™.”

Dr. Douglas Reeves is the founder of Creative Leadership Solutions, an international professional development organization. The author of more than 30 books and more than 80 articles on leadership and organizational effectiveness, he has twice been named to the Harvard University Distinguished Authors Series and was named the Brock International Laureate for his contributions to education. Reeves received the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the Parent’s Choice Award for his writing for children and parents and the Contribution to the Field Award from the National Staff Development Council. His most recent book is “Inspiring Creativity and Innovation in K-12 Education” (Solution Tree, 2015).

Ken O’Connor is an independent consultant on assessment, grading and reporting and has been a staff development presenter and facilitator in 45 states in the USA, nine provinces and one territory in Canada, and in 17 countries outside North America. He has authored numerous books and articles. O’Connor’s twenty-three year teaching career includes experience as a geography teacher and department head at six schools in Toronto and Melbourne. He was a curriculum coordinator responsible for student assessment and evaluation and geography for the Scarborough Board of Education (and then the Toronto District School Board). He also worked (half-time) as a consultant on secondary assessment at the Ontario Ministry of Education.
