LENT A TIME TO REFLECT ON OUR RELATIONSHIPS
WITH GOD AND OUR NEIGHBORS
TAKING TIME Lord, let me take time to see the flowers
That grow by the side of the road.Let me take time to lend a handThat will lighten another’s load.
Let me take the time to hear the soundsOf happy children at play.
Let me take the time to visit a friendWho might be lonely today.
Let me take the time to share my thoughtsWith those who are dear to me.
Let me take the time to reach out to othersThe poor, the homeless and those with needs
Through the many various ways I can find to perform the helpful deeds. And let me take time for a quiet hour
To spend, Lord, alone with Thee. - copied
LOVE is the GLUE - He who has a loving heart can mend the things that fall apart.
