During February 2007, after almost two years of planning, John Antoine Labadie & Margie Beth Labadie had the great privilege of traveling and working in various locations in India: Delhi, Rajasthan & Gujarat. We began our actives in Delhi as presenters and exhibitors with the “Academy of Electronic Arts” conference at the India International Center. We moved on to Jaipur to an “artist-in-residency” at Banasathali Vidyapith University in Tonk, Rajasthan. We presented the first workshop in digital art in the history of the university and exhibited our work there in the Art Department gallery on campus. From there traveled on to work as “visiting new media artists” the National Institute of Design in Gujarat and Gandhinagar in Gujarat. In these locations and in the travels along the way we experienced many amazing things and met many interesting people. The images in this volume provide a small glimpse into the amazing weeks spent engaged in so many interesting activities in our first trip to India.
