The Lab is a small strip mall lo-cated in Costa Mesa, California.

It was established in 1991 by former Quicksliver President Shaheen Sadehi to appeal to

the local youth and their unac-knowledged culture.

Built out of recycled materials and an abandoned factory,

Sadehi sought to attract artists, musicians, & like-minded retail-ers to his quiet and minimalistic destination. The Lab, in it’s �f-teen year existence, has been highly successful in attracting

many stylish retailers and small boutiques.

Helping to inspire the emerg-ing artistic talents of the local youth, The Lab continues to blossom in the very main-

stream neighborhood of South Orange County.
