Synopsis of the Film

The storyline of this film is about England’s Prince Albert who then takes on the role of King George VI, however he suffers from a speech impediment, therefore affecting the way he can communicate. As he is taking position of the King, he will therefore need to speak effectively. His wife Elizabeth then hires an Australian actor and speech therapist in order to try and help him. A friendship then forms between the two men and he is able to help the King overcome his stammer.

Synopsis of the film

When looking at the synopsis for this film, Pride and Prejudice is based around the bestselling novel by Jane Austen. It is based around a women called Elizabeth Bennett who lives with her mother, father and sisters in the English Countryside. Being the eldest, she therefore faces pressure from her parents to marry. She is then introduced to Mr Darcy; an upper-class, rich, handsome gentleman. Mr Darcy is madly in love with her however she does not like him. Therefore Darcy is forced to change and become more kind and polite in order for Elizabeth to like him.
