The King and I will connect through His Holy Word. As I discover more about the depths of His love for me, I’ll look for ways to show His unconditional love to those I consider unlovable. Thoughts to ponder:

1. What names of God from the Old Testament speak to your current needs? 2. What kinds of distractions keep you from hearing God as He speaks to you? 3. How have your environmental and experiential influences shaped the way you view

life? 4. How has God demonstrated His love specifically to you? 5. What names for Jesus speak to your current needs?

5 short minutes a day 5 days a week 5 ways to discover your treasure!

The King and I will walk together daily and I’ll consider the wedges

that are interfering with our heart to heart relationship. With His help, I’ll remove those wedges.

Thoughts to ponder:

1. Think of a way that you fall short of God’s glory. 2. How can the knowledge of your eternal inheritance affect your level of self-confidence? 3. Are you holding a wedge that you thought was harmless or insignificant? How do you plan to

chisel it out?

♦ Your Relationship with Jesus is the greatest of all treasures.

The King and I together will rejoice over His magnificent creation and His design of me. I will give Him thanks and praise for all that He is and I will trust Him to show me how to live a lifestyle that brings honor and glory to His name.

Thoughts to ponder: 1. Which songs of worship help you overcome fear and discouragement 2. In what parts of your life, do you need God’s strength the most? How can you glorify His name

through your struggles? 3. How do you daily express thanksgiving to the Lord? Have you ever kept a journal of your

expressions of gratitude or written the Lord a letter of thanks? 4. How do you plan to take time for some peace and rest in God’s presence this week?
