EDUCATIONDegree completion and vocational training are critical opportunities for a successful transition for former players – which is why The Trust's education program includes a scholarship fund for meeting those goals.

LIFESTYLE PARTNERS

PERSONAL INTERACTION

Personal interaction is an essential part of developing and educating current and former players, both socially and emotionally. Through this pillar, transitioning players have the opportunity to communicate peer-to-peer and share feedback with respect to their transition from professional football.

The Trust is comprised of trained staff to provide customized support and guidance to former players for every step of our programs and services. Personal interaction also includes the use of social media, events hosted by The Trust Captains and Locker Room Lounges.

LOCKER ROOM LOUNGES

After retirement, former players miss the camaraderie and relationships that existed on their former teams. In order to address this issue, the NFLPA and The Trust have created Locker Room Lounges to deliver exceptional experiences which enhance the lives of players. Locker Room Lounges are a series of social gatherings that provide former and current players with an exclusive place to socialize, network and obtain access to The Trust's resources and partners.

CAPTAIN’S EVENTS

The Trust Captains are former player leaders with a commitment to continue serving beyond the game. Along with being an integral piece of our outreach efforts, the Captains are responsible for hosting Captain’s Events. Each event is meant to provide former players with the opportunity to reconnect with each other in an inviting and entertaining atmosphere.
