The Key To Fulfilling Relationships
We tend to take on roles in our relationships
Those roles over time can feel confining, limiting, and defining.
All too often, not knowing how to deal with a confining role, the pressure builds until
one explodes and walks away from the relationship.
If you don’t like your role in a relationship, evolve it.
The evolution of a relationship is not a retaliation;
rather it’s a gradual process.
If you don’t like an attitude or a position that people project upon you,
just don’t give it energy. Perhaps even ignore it.
If you don’t like your role or your responsibilities,
suggest a new set of boundaries where responsibilities or positions
are reassigned.
Long-lasting relationships are fulfilling relationships, but they must be cultivated,
cultured, refined, and adjusted over time.
A fulfilling relationship with one’s spouse or partner can be the most challenging, but also the most rewarding.
All too often, people ‘throw out the baby with the bathwater,’
abandoning the relationship instead of working with it.
Understanding and evolving group and family dynamics is a gateway to fulfillment and freedom in one’s most important relationships.
The art of cultivating fulfilling relationships is subtle, but essential. Otherwise, the richness and fullness
of family and personal dynamics slips through one’s fingers.
