Silvia, Mom and dad were looking for houses in Quito in Houston in the Ipad. They were going on and on about these mountains in Quito, but they were little hills to me. I would have been more worried about the Ipad, but there was something worse. WE WERE MOVING! But I still wanted that device. So I asked my sister if i could use it , but by the evil smile in her face , I knew she was going to say something rude. I excused myself out of the room as quickly as I could and went to my bed. Quito, to me, was a awful place with no blue skies. Houston had beautiful skies, wonderful living

creatures and a lot of great ways to spend the weekend. Quito was just, well, not Houston. In the plane, I was begging to give up. Negativity was just going to get me faster to Houston. When we got off the plane, I smelled something fishy and it wasn't because of the food that they served to us on the plane. “ Where are the mountains?” I asked to myself. Because being the smallest daughter, something was going to prove me wrong. I searched outside.

I have been proved wrong, allright. Huge

mountains entered the scene. They were completely huge. It was so cold that day they had snow on top of them! I have seen these mountains, the Andes, in Colombia. But i have never seen them covered in snow! After a few minutes of staring, my mom called me. Finally, we left the airport.

A few months later, we found the perfect home. It has a great view of the mountains! It was then that I realized that Quito wasn't going to be bad at all.
