Vehicles in Camp As in past years we will be asking for your cooperation with keeping the vehicles out of the camping area. Only

one vehicle at a time will be allowed at the camping area to drop off the troop equipment, they must be parked in the designated parking lot. Please plan ahead by loading all equipment in one or two vehicles. All participating units must carpool. There is limited space for parking. All vehicles will be parked in designated parking areas for the weekend.

All vehicles entering Stony Creek Metropark must have a Metropark pass.

Campsites Remember that all Boy Scout and Metropark rules and regulations apply and must be followed. No vehicles are

allowed in the campsite. Only Troop trailers will be allowed. All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas. No ground fires allowed. Fires are only allowed in an above ground fire pit that you bring. You must bring your own firewood. We cannot guarantee that picnic tables will be available.

Venturing Crews are Welcome Venturing Crews are welcome to attend the Chippewa Fall Camp-o-ree. They can participate in all of the same

activities that the Boy Scout will be participating in or assist in running the activities.

Notes on the Fall Camp-o-ree Troops should invite Webelos to attend with them and eat meals with the Troop. Webelos must

compete as their own patrol. They cannot be mixed with Troop patrols. Webelos must register separately from the Troops. All Webelos can stay for the entire day on Saturday.

Every Troop and Pack is expected to help with the judging of the stations. If we do not have enough volunteers then we will not be able to run all of the stations. Each Troop and Pack will be assigned a station to man.

Meals are not provided. All units are to provide their own meals.

Iron Chef Cook-Off Rules Patrols must register to compete. This year’s theme is Stew’s. There will be a youth competition and an adult

    competition.

Each patrol will prepare a dish and turn in a patrol size portion to be judged. Patrols may be youth or adult. All entrées must have a recipe turned in with dish. Recipe form is available at http://chippyblog.org. Dishes will be prepared on Saturday of Camp-o-ree. Dishes that are not prepared on site may not get full

points. The choice of the recipe and seasoning is the patrols decision. Each patrol will be judged on originalty, texture, flavor, smell, appearance, creativity, and use of theme

ingredient. 1. All dishes and recipes must have a name that is clearly displayed at time of judging. Weird names

that refer to Scouting or Scouters are encouraged. 2. Each recipe shall list all the ingredients, their amounts, and complete instructions for preparation, all

in detail. 3. Each patrol will provide its own food, cooking tools and any supplies they need to prepare their dishes.

Activities committee will not provide equipment or food. 4. Usage of pre-packaged, store-bought foods should be avoided. It is permitted that all seasonings and

ingredients can be pre-measured and put in a plastic baggie. 5. Canned fruit and packaged cake mixes are acceptable as a base for a dessert, but fresh fruit or cake

(made from scratch), will earn you more points. 6. Judging will take place between 5:00 to 6:30 PM, with prizes presented at the evening show. 7. All entries will be taken to HQ, and presented for judging. 8. The decision of the judges is final.

How do I register my Troop? There are two ways to register, you can register by using the paper registration form or by going online

(http://chippyblog.org) and using the online Doubleknot registration process. To Register with the paper registration form, fill out the form completely, send the form and fees in to the

Waterford Service Center. Include unit leader and contact person (if different than unit leader), Number of scouts projected to attend, amount of fees, payment method.

To Register online, go to http://chippyblog.org, on that page there will be a link to the online regristration using the Doubleknot registration system. Once at doubleknot, follow the onscreen instructions. To register for this event you do not need to enter your scouts names, only the total number of youth and adults attending. You will need to provide a nonrefundable depost of 50% of your total fee by either paying online or sending payment to the Waterford Service Center.

Upon arrival at the event the unit leader needs to go to registration and fill out a form which contains the actual number of scouts and adults attending. At that time the unit roster also needs to be provided.
