Integrity
“According to Scripture, virtually everything that truly qualifies a
person for leadership is directly related to character. It’s not about
style, status, personal charisma, clout, or worldly measurements of
success. Integrity is the main issue that makes the difference between
a good leader and a bad one.”

Before our country's independence, my grandparents came to know Jesusand served the LORD with great passion during their life time. The onlyreason my mother served as a nurse in TLM for over 32 years, in spite of myfather working as an engineer in government electrical department wasbecause my parents strongly believed that serving people affected byleprosy is serving God. In my family we are three brothers, and I am theyoungest. We were born in TLM Vizianagram campus, and were raised withGod's fear. I still remember we had lot of fun during our school days with over30-odd children playing in the campus with the old residents who didgardening and other work; I never knew they were stigmatised and wereforced to leave their villages!
After school, I did engineering in Bangalore with first class; and I had greatambitions. I believe it was as per God's will that I joined TLMTI. After myengineering course, I came home for holidays, and met with a road accident.I fractured my foot, and was on bed rest for a couple of months. During thatperiod I attended an interview in TLM, and was posted at TLM Champa VTC,in 2004. I was about to quit in six months, but was greatly touched by astudent's testimony during VTC students' farewell. One student's motherasked him to seek my blessings by touching my feet because of thedifference I made in his life. This incident touched me. At that moment I wasable to see how TLMTI was making difference in people's lives.
With the Almighty's blessing I worked in different states as unit leader inAndhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and est Bengal. NowWworking as Coordinator-cum-principal of vocational education centre, witnessing and sharing Jesus' love, I feel blessed making difference in thelives of young people, helping them to earn decent livelihood to fulfil theirambition .s
Initially, I believed that we get happiness only when we receive. Later,I experienced that we get happiness when we give or share with others. NowI am experiencing true happiness.. “every good gift…..is from above”(James 1:17), only happens when you abide in HIM and seek HIS will (John15:11).
Apart from my mother, my brothers also worked in TLM, and we all feelblessed. God blessed me with a life partner (Prasanna) and two kids(Jasher Hussey & Jewel Gamaliel). One day we expect to see our childrenworking with TLM and also be blessed. Praise the LORD!
TestimonyI BELIEVE... SERVING PEOPLE AFFECTED BY LEPROSY IS SERVING GOD!
