Your model will be standing in your creation in the space so guest and judges get an up-close look at the details of your hair, makeup and nail work! Below are some key details to consider for this Earth Month fashion show: Objective: Participants to create a garment from recycled materials Participants to produce an overall look including: hair, makeup, and nails Participants create portfolio showcasing their process in creating their garment and overall look for gallery tour. Portfolio should have photos or creation process and before and after shots. Participants can work individually, or in groups (no more than 2-3 participants per group) Participants Responsibilities: Responsible for getting their own model (please contact Gaya at [email protected] if you need assistance). Promote, sell tickets, and encourage family and friends to attend Artist’s Environmental Commitment In recognition of Aveda’s stated and well-known commitment to sustainability and the importance of such commitment, we agree to refrain from using any of the following prohibited materials to create their look or complete their performance, whether as part of their own or their model’s wardrobe, accessories or other on-stage items. Artist’s Use of Aveda Products

Teams agree to use only Aveda hair color, hair care, skin care and makeup products to create their look. Use of non-Aveda products is prohibited. (Nail polish does not have to be brand specific, but we suggest using Zoya)

Artist’s Use of Additional Materials

Should teams require additional materials to create their look or complete their performance (e.g., hair styling tools, wardrobe, accessories other on-stage items), they agree to provide them at their expense.
