Naples Botanical Garden is proud to present its 2020 Summer exhibition, The Impressionist’s Garden: Plein Air Paintings by Paul Arsenault.
Contemporary impressionist Paul Arsenault has long held a fascination with gardens, which he has been painting for decades. The Impressionist’s Garden celebrates Arsenault’s love and passion for the Garden and the natural world by bringing together a selection of his original artwork featuring our 170-acre tropical paradise, as well as a few other Florida gardens. Arsenault’s work celebrates and pays homage to the rich tradition of painting en plein air—or painting outdoors.
A highly collected artist and gifted storyteller, Arsenault has called Naples home since 1974. He can often be found quietly painting among the ever-changing landscapes of Naples Botanical Garden. His vibrant color palette and recognizable style capture the changing scenes and different seasons of the Garden by showcasing the diversity of its richness and abundance.
The Impressionist’s Garden: Plein Air Paintings by Paul Arsenault is presented by BNY MELLON WEALTH MANAGEMENT.
