The ICEF Higher Education Workshop provides a targeted opportunity for international tertiary institutions, selected higher education focused agents, and relevant service providers to hold pre-scheduled, one-to-one business meetings, effectively and effi ciently.

Agents continue to play a crucial role in the growth of the higher education sector. Agents represent institutions in their markets and provide culturally-aware counselling to prospective students and their families. Agents also monitor enrolment criteria, streamlining the entire process.

At the 2016 event, a total of 100 educators and 18 service providers met with 117 agents from 50 countries around the world. ICEF is renowned for inviting only the most relevant and professional agents to attend its events. This reputation was built through ICEF’s careful screening process. All agents are required to provide verifi able data on their business practices, performance, and must also supply recent references from higher education partners. These steps, among other things, ensure that your meeting time is spent well and productive.

The ICEF Higher Education Workshop takes place immediately before the ICEF Higher Education Partnership Forum, and the 2017 EAIE Conference, also in Seville, allowing educators to attend multiple events.

Workshop ProgrammeWe were very glad that we attended the ICEF HE Workshop. The overall workshop has defi nitely met our expectations. And I was impressed how all the agents were reviewed and screened by ICEF in order to be eligible for the workshop participation. The quality of the agents was good, they were knowledgable and professional. The markets were targeted. I was glad that I had so many opportunities to meet agents not only from Europe, but also some other areas that we are a little concerned about going on trips due to safety issues.Atsue Pingleton, APU - Ritsumeikan Asia Pacifi c University, Japan

It was a good event to meet existing and potential agencies. The selection of agents and the organisation was good.Hasan Atasoy, Atilim University, Turkey

Our workshop experience was very worthwhile and encouraging, particularly from the level of interest and enthusiasm for the future that we got from agents. The guidance and support from all the ICEF team was also great.Jhon Valencia, Galway Cultural Institute, Ireland
