PARTIES FOR EIGHT OR 80+: we will take care of you! Have your Christmas party gathering in Herons at the Heriot Bay Inn: festive ambience, excellent service and many menu options. Call us [email protected] or 250-285-3322.

CAFÉ AROMA NEWS...the Angel Tree is in place at the Café and our hope is that the community will help to make a child’s eyes light up with a gift from an Angel! The process is simple, just come and pick an angel or two from the our tree and purchase a gift for a child ... on the label write who the gift is for (male or female) and approximate age and size if the gift is a piece of clothing. Wrap your gift and place the Angel on the package. Bring the gift to the Café and place under the tree ... the gifts will be given to the Food Cupboard for disbursement close to Christmas. I hope the above clarifies our mission as there has been some confusion relayed to me.

Welcome Shona to our team, she will be added to our Barista team. Give Alexandra a fond farewell as she has resigned her position as cook with the Café. Tami has been partnered with Angela, our new cook in training, who will begin this week. So, lots of changes, which is ‘par for the course’ in this business as I am finding out, makes for interesting challenges. Our Café will remain open hours 07:30-16:00 hours throughout the Winter except: will be closed Christmas week dates December 23rd at 16:00 and be open for Bennies December 30th. Seniors breakfast special will be added to the mix (Monday - Friday) Look for this special coming soon ... Café Aroma now offers MUFFINS’, SCONES and COOKIES by the ½ - 1 dozen for sale ... pre-order please to guarantee freshness and particular tastes.

A friendly shout out to Island Artisans ... our Café welcomes your art for display ... contact Café Aroma for available months ... We are also starting a NEW list of individuals interested in Level 1 Food Safe Course who missed the one in October. Thanks for your continued patronage from the dedicated staff at Café Aroma.

YOUR AD, YOUR WAY. Classified ads for the Hungry Eye can be submitted at the Quadra General Store or through our website: www.thehungryeye.ca, where you can download back issues and learn more about your advertising options. For display ads or any special requests email Michelle at [email protected]
