Volume Seven – Bon Voyage(Brought to you by SPACE)

So we’re at the tail end of this legacy. Let’s do a quick re-cap before getting into generation eight:

Generation One/Founder – Veronica Legacy and Joe Carr

While this has been a productive legacy so far, I think the next challenge I do will be played out more slowly (because I will be working during the day and won’t have all the freetime in the world to play a computer game).

STEP NINE: ARRIVE IN TAKEMIZUI bought the most expensive vacation homes in each of the three vacation spots to try and dwindle the savings of the family. Seriously, in game they are currently over 500K. I’ve even tried playing the chance cards to reduce their funds, but I end up getting more.

STEP TEN: EARN THE FISHING BADGES

STEP TWELVE: REALIZE YOU’RE PREGNANT WHILE DIGGING FOR MAPSSebastian ended up getting all three vacation maps (plus a few objects) so I can send him to every secret lot.

STEP SEVENTY-NINE: GRADUATEJust as an FYI, because of seasons I have the entire university hood set to constant autumn. It gives boosts in attending class and doing term papers. I pretty much have this lot on x3 while I go about my house getting food and going to the bathroom.

So there we have it. Eight generations down, two more to go. Freetime is installed and Apartment Life is waiting on my desk right above a really old copy of Guild Wars that I haven’t played in nearly a decade.

It’s a weird sort of nostalgia that I am having installing each EP. I remember when I bought them, including the original game back in 2004. It’s certainly easier to play as an adult than as a kid.

For the next two generations, I’m either going to have the Legacy finished tomorrow or finish it by next weekend. I start work Tuesday so my constant free time will be a thing of the past. For sure the next challenge won’t seem as rushed.
