Scope: $798 Million Design-Build Reconstruction of Existing Interchange Between IH 30 and IH 35E Key Features: Replace Existing Bridges over Trinity

River and Existing Levee System with 8 New Bridges

Additionally; Construct two Calatrava-Designed Steel Arch Structures over Trinity River (Margaret McDermott Signature Bridges)

Reconstruction of IH 30/IH 35E-Multi-Level Interchanges at two locations

• Dallas Horseshoe Project-

– Lane Rental Fee Bank Balance = $2.4 million

– Results:

• Majority of lane closures were completed overnight, very few single lane closures during the day on the weekend

• All full closures were completed in overnight hours (majority on Friday and Saturday nights)

• No full closures needed during the day on the weekend

• Work during closures was maximized and multiple activities and crews worked safely within the closures.

• Not a single lane closure was not picked up by Time Period A/the peak hour and no lane closures during rush hour

• Multiple work activities during lane closures to maximize work accomplished during a closure

• Overall we believe we have reduced the impact to the traveling public
