Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that OUT of J&K is bestowed with a predominantly young population which is a valuable human resource which must be put to con- structive engagement. Mission Youth is the apex body of the government for youth engagement and outreach in J&K, he added. He said that the core agenda of Mis- sion Youth is to positively engage youth for their overall well being within the society by making them stakeholders in the development of the Union Terri- tory. The DC further said that the pro- gramme is conceived with an objective to facilitate the engagement of youth in sustainable socio-economic develop- ment of J&K; to help young people to realize their full social, economic and human potential, to foster the social in- tegration of youth within communities and enhance youth employability, con- tribution to effective delivery of basic services to the people of J&K in the times of distrust, natural calamities, pandemics, to set up micro youth clubs for youth engagement at Panchayat level. He added that the role of Volunteer Groups shall be to create awareness among general masses, to combat mis- information and sensitization of com- munities regarding important social/ economic/ political matters by inter- acting with communities and by using innovative means, to provide assis- tance to departments in data gathering and to assist local administration to identify vulnerable areas for creating better targeted responses, to work for community mobilization and targeted response under various government schemes, initiatives, developmental ac- tivities and other government functions etc. On the occasion, Sachin exhorted the officers to activate all field men and machinery for getting more people above 18 years of age group vaccinated and also speed up the process to com- plete the requisite target in a time bound manner. Shopian DC reviews rolling out of Mission Youth SRINAGAR, JULY 24: To commemorate the 75 years of India's Indepen- dence, “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav", the District Ad- ministration Srinagar in collaboration with Depart- ment of Registrations Sri- nagar held an Awareness cum Interaction pro- gramme on benefits of “Na- tional Generic Document Registration System” (NG- DRS) and Unique Land Parcel Identification Num- ber(ULPIN) at meeting hall of DC office here on Satur- day. The programme was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, while Inspector General Registration, Arshid Ayoub and Special Secretary Rev- enue Department, K.K.Sidha were present on the occasion. Additional Deputy Com- missioner, Srinagar/ Reg- istrar, Syed Hanief Balkhi, Assistant Commisioner, Nazool, Sandeep Singh Bali, SDM East, Owais Mushtaq, SDM West, Ak- shay Labroo, Sub Registrar Srinagar East, Javed Ma- soodi, besides Deed writer, Petition writers, Revenue officials and other stake- holders also participated in the programme and were apprised about the benefits of online property registra- tion(NGDRS) At the outset, the DC said that NGDRS is an IT ser- vice and delivery of some of the initiatives of Digital In- dia, the system will reduce human intervention and will enable it to maintain a uniform land record regis- tration system. The DC impressed upon the officers that proccess of property Registration is a very sensitive matter and they must verify the records minutely and care- fully to ensure Registration is done in favour legal owner Inspector General, Reg- istration also addressed the gathering and gave an overview on NGDRS. He said it is a system for land record maintenance and registration, developed by the department of land re- sources of Government of India. The NGDRS system would help property buy- ers know the circle rate for land across JK besides un- derstanding the type of land, and any person can access the website where stamp and duty rates are notified. Besides, awareness re- garding the Unique Land Parcel Identification Num- ber (ULPIN) scheme, which has been launched in 10 States and will be rolled out across the country by March 2022, was also given to the participants as “the Aadhaar for land", it is a number that would uniquely identify every sur- veyed parcel of land and prevent land fraud, espe- cially in the hinterlands of rural areas. Sarpanch Devak, Bodh Raj Sharma, Panch Ro- mesh Sharma, members of Biodiversity management committee and a number of locals actively participated in the planting of different species of plants in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School Devak. “One Beat Guard One Village” program was con- ducted by Dinesh Kumar, Beat Guard Devak of Sun- derbani Forest Range. Medicinal, fodder and tim- ber plants, besides seed balls of grass, fruit and bamboo were also distrib- uted among the partici- pants. “One Beat Guard OneVillage” program was con-ducted by Dinesh Kumar,Beat Guard Devak of Sun-derbani Forest Range.Medicinal, fodder and tim-ber plants, besides seedballs of grass, fruit andbamboo were also distrib-uted among the partici-pants. Chief Animal HusbandryOfficer(CAHO) Doda Dr, Sanjay Ku-mar Sen visited Gundoh Block of Dis-trict Doda and took stock of the De-partmental activities andimplementation of various flagshipschemes including Integrated DairyDevelopment (IDDS), IntegratedPoultry Development Program(IPDP), Nationwide Artificial Insem-ination Programme (NAIP), NationalAnimal Disease Control Programme(NADCP) etc.

During the visit, the CAHO held de-tailed interaction with the PRIs of the

Gundoh Block and explained to themabout the ongoing departmentalschemes under Atma Nirbhar Bharatmeant for doubling the farmers’ in-come. Special emphasis was laid onthe importance of Pashu Mela at Hi-ranagar Kathua and participation offarmers in this Mega event.

PRIs were also encouraged to prop-agate the message of participation inthe Pashu Mela being organized bythe Department of Animal and SheepHusbandry on 28th and 29th July atHiranagar Kathua.
