Selecting the right college can bean intimidating process for teenagers.
Some of them would choosewhere their friends are attendingor what the college reputation is.

FACTORS SHOULD A HIGH SCHOOLSTUDENT TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION
WHEN CHOOSING A COLLEGE
1. Class size:
A bigger school for you who won't mindattending a class with 250-300 students.
A smaller one for you who needsmore one-on-one contact.
2. Professional opportunities:
For instance, if you are considering ascience major then look for a college
that has a well developedundergraduate research program.
3. Social opportunities:
Campus student organizations are a greatway to network with individuals with
similar interests and studies.
BIGGEST MISTAKES STUDENTS MAKEWHEN CHOOSING A COLLEGE:
1. Based solely on reputation.
Na-ah!Just because the college is bigand well-known doesn't mean
it's the best fit for you or your goals.
2. Choosing a college because it's whereall your friends are attending.
You know what, sometimes it's goodto be different than everyone else.
