The drying kilns have been in our range of products since 2010 and during these years they have become quite popular on the market.

In 2013 we delivered to IKEA Industry 5 pcs of forklift-loaded chamber kilns HCH with annual capacity of ca. 54 000 m3/year when drying pine timber with diameter of 23 mm to the final moisture of 9 %. The drying kilns can be used for drying pine sawn green timber with diameter of 23 – 75 mm to the final moisture of 9 %. All the chamber kilns are equipped with hot water spraying system and load presses which effectively prevent the sawn timber from becoming crooked due to the drying shrinkage during the process. The HEINOLA drying automation is equipped with remote control to control and support the customer’s drying process.
In 2011 we delivered 2 pcs of HEINOLA drive-through chamber kilns HCH to Versowood Oy’s Otava sawmill. The kiln capacity is ca. 14 000 m3/year when drying pine timber with diameter of 50 mm. The drying kiln can be used for drying pine and spruce timber from sawn green timber to
the final moisture of 8 – 18 %. The kiln packages are brought straight from the sticker-stacker to the chain roller unit in front of the chambers with a traverse. With adjusting the frequency converter driven recirculation fan the kiln saves energy when drying to low final moisture.
To Iisveden Metsä Oy we deliver a fully automatic 2-zone progressive kiln HFB with annual capacity of ca. 30 000 m3/year. The drying kiln can be used for drying pine and
spruce timber with diameter of 16 – 32 mm from sawn green timber to the final moisture of 14 – 16 %. The new progressive kiln will be taken into production during this year 2014.

HEINOLA 2-ZONE PROGRESSIVE KILN HTC
We deliver a HEINOLA 2-zone progressive kiln HTC with annual capacity of ca. 35 000 m3 to Kuhmo Oy. The drying kiln can be used for drying pine and spruce timber with diameter of 16 – 50 mm from sawn green timber to the final moisture
of 12 – 18 %. The new progressive kiln will be taken into production early 2015. This investment eliminates the bottleneck in Kuhmo Oy’s process and thereby enables increase in production.

FULLY AUTOMATIC HEINOLA 2-ZONE PROGRESSIVE KILN HFB
In 2013 we delivered to Keitele Engineered Wood Oy a fully automatic 2-zone progressive kiln HTC with annual capacity of 47 000 m3 when drying spruce timber with diameter of 35 mm to the final moisture of 12 %. The drying kiln can
be used for drying pine and spruce sawn green timber with diameter of 25 – 50 mm to the final moisture of 12 %. The kiln is equipped with load presses and a heat recovery unit which saves energy ca. 15 – 20 % of the required heat power.
