In the above photo:

1. The lower traverse line (a-a), starts from the Lower mount of Mars and does not extend beyond the centre of the palm. According to Dr. Arnold Holtzman, “information is carried only at the periphery of the hypothenar eminence.” - there is not much assimilation of this information in the subconscious world of the subject.

2. Line A – A bends at “bi” and branches down to the space bordering the Lower Mars and hypothenar region. This line indicates the physical attraction normally tempers with individual thinking – there is a lot of accommodation of worldly affairs in a creative manner.

3. The lower traverse line A – A is not really attached to the Life (Earth) line. At the same time the line a-a is attached.

4. Line A – A branches to Upper Mars at “bi” is at the intersection of the Head (Air) line and the Fate (Fire) line, which is given the measurement of 35 years according to Cheiro.

5. At the same time, a branch from the Life (Earth) line goes upwards and merges with the Fate (Fire) line.

Facts of the case:

1. This is the hand of a female, 34 years old.2. In her youth she had violent temper and always wanted to be independent.

3. As customary, she married at a young age and has 2 daughters. Line A-A, bending from “bi” to the border of the hypothenar (lunar) region.

4. At present she is at the cross roads of destiny. She runs the house by supplementing the meager income of her husband by taking order of catering.

5. HER CURRENT SITUATION:A. She is moving to a new environment, from a rental apratment to her own house about 60 kms away.B. As the Air (Head) Line is going to Upper Mars, she plans (already negotiating) to get part of her ancestral land for cultivation.C. The Martian traits are working strong in her mind as the Air lien at “bi” is penetrating into the region of Upper Mars. She loves her spouse and want to give him what is lacking – a baby boy. She is a staunch Hindu and the desire for a boy is strong.

6. As the branch emerging from the Life line shows that she is desirous of making use of the opportunities Fate is giving her, there is hope for a better future to unfold to her. It is a Fiery hand with square fingers. Square shows earthy elements.



7. The thumb is nearer the index finger, showing a more selfish attitude, “to do things for her and her family”

8. The Life (Earth) line is broadening - fuller and better life.

I wish her all the best and may her wishes be fulfilled – departure from the old life of misery to a new life of bold and brave thinking. After all, the Head(Air) line is the mental will – a will that will henceforth directed with Martian thoughts for a new and brave world.
