Once, upon a time, Mr Tortoise was walking on the road. Mr.Hare saw him and started laughing loudly.Ha ha ha! Look at you. You are so slow!, said Mr. Hare.

Mr.Tortoise got angry and challenged Mr.Hare to a race.Mr. Tortoise said, Through you run fast, I can beat you in a race. The Hare immediately agreed.

On the race day, Mr.Hare and Mr.Tortoise arrived at the start point. When the tiger fired the gun, Mr. Hare raced ahead, while Mr. Tortoise slowly followed behind.

Mr.Hare was quite ahead of Mr.Tortoise. He saw that Mr.Tortoise was walking slowly far behind him.

Mr Hare was so sure about winning the race. He decided to take a nap under the tree.While Mr.Hare was dozing, Mr. Tortoise continued walking slowly and went ahead of Mr. Hare.

Mr. Tortoise now led the race and reached the finish line first. Mr.Hare woke up and ran towards the finish line. But he reached after Mr. Tortoise and lost the race.

Mr. Tortoise won the race. Mr. Hare started crying because he had lost the race to the slow tortoise.
