Happy Holidays!

As Christians we have all been adopted and understand first-hand how our lives, and the lives around us, changed. For more than 10,000 children in our state alone, “home” is something they’re still waiting on. If you’ve ever felt called to adopt or foster, or if you’ve been praying for your family to grow and God hasn’t answered as you expected,

Edmond has a team who would love to answer your questions, pray with you, and help you find the resources you need to bring a waiting child home. For more information on our Adoption Ministry contact Will and Amy Blanchard at 405-315-5466. Learn more about how you can change the life of a child through adoption or foster care by visiting the Lilyfield table in the foyer on Sunday.

ATTENDANCE REPORT: November 12, 2017

T w o v e r y e x c i t i n g programs for children will be in our building on December 9—Breakfast with Santa and Christmas Wish Distribution. Breakfast with Santa is for children 5th grade and younger and their families to come and enjoy time together. We will begin at 8:30 with yummy cinnamon rolls, fruit, yogurt and drinks. Then the children will make crafts and take a picture with Santa. Registration opens Sunday and closes on December 6. Be sure to register so we have a count for the food. Christmas Wish has been an amazing outreach for the past several years. Hosted and organized by the Pathfinders class, Christmas Wish touches the lives of the children in Edmond who may not receive Christmas gifts otherwise. More than 180 children have stockings put out to be snatched up quickly by our families. On the afternoon of December 9, those children will receive the presents, make crafts, and see Santa. (Gifts for Christmas wish are due on December 3.) Thank you to all of the volunteers who help set up, clean up, cook, assist at the craft tables and greet our families. We are very blessed to have a church family who loves and wants to be a part of our children’s lives.
