If you’ve ever wondered about organic farming or what it

means to be “certified organic” join us at Maplestar Farm,

operated by the Trethewey family since 1940. Jake and Dawn

Trethewey have been growing a wide variety of certified

organic produce, including prize-winning

gourmet garlic since 2004. Because soil

conservation and water quality are

cornerstones of the National Organic

Program, crop rotation and the use of

cover crops to help prevent runoff and build soil fertility are

actively practiced and are showing measurable results over the

past six years. Come and see how Maplestar

Farm is committed to providing local, delicious,

healthy, and fresh produce --- direct from their

fields to your table.
