iPod is a line of portable media players created andmarketed by Apple Inc.. The product line-up currentlyconsists of the hard drive-based iPod Classic, thetouch screen iPod Touch, the compact iPod Nano, and theultra-compact iPod Shuffle. iPod Classic modelsstore media on an internal hard drive, while all othermodels use flash memory to enable their smaller size(the discontinued Mini used a Micro drive miniaturehard drive). The iPhone 4S is a touch screenslateSmartphone developedby Apple Inc.. It is the fifth generation of the iPhone, a device thatcombines a widescreen iPod with touch screen, mobile phone, andinternet communicator.[6] It retains the exterior design of itspredecessor, iPhone 4, but is host to a range of improvedhardware specifications and software updates compared to theprevious model. Integrated software and hardware changessupport the introduction of new user interface and functions byApple. Highlights include a voice recognizing and talkingassistant called Siri, personal computer independence, cloud-sourced data (iCloud) and an improved camera system. A selectionof the device's functions can be controlled by voice.[7]The iPhone 4S was unveiled at Apple's Let's Talk iPhone event onOctober 4, 2011 in Cupertino, California. Apple started takingpre-orders for the iPhone 4S on October 7, 2011 in seven initialcountries (United States, Canada, Australia, UnitedKingdom, France , Germany, and Japan) with a first delivery dateset for October 14, 2011, and available on that same day fordirect store sales in those countries. It will be released in 22more European, American and Asian countries, including Ireland,Mexico and Singapore on October 28.[8]
