Dragonfly Energy is a technology company based

in Reno, Nevada, on the shores of the beautiful

Truckee River and just down the hill from Lake

Tahoe.

SEAN NICHOLSCOO

EVAN HUMPHREYSDIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

Sean manages all aspects of the daily

operations including manufacturing, marketing

and human resources. Previously, Sean spent 7

years in the mobile and off-grid power industry,

at AIMS Power. During his tenure as the Vice

President of Sales and Operations at AIMS

Power, Sean was a crucial part in the product

and business development strategy that

positioned the company as a world leader in

power inverter technologies. Sean has a BA and

an MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Evan’s role focuses on product design, as well as

the development of manufacturing machinery

and automation logic. He graduated from

Swarthmore College with degrees in Engineering

and Philosophy.

Evan designed industrial process machinery and

free-lanced as an automation controls specialist

for several years.

Denis’ vision has lead this company from an idea

to an emerging industry leader. Denis developed

an extensive background in renewable energy

technologies as a tenured faculty member

in the Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering

Department at the University of Southern

California. He left academia to follow his passion

and make an impact in energy storage.

Denis holds a PhD from Caltech and an EMBA

from the University of Nevada, Reno.

ROB MATTHEWSDIRECTOR

Prior to being involved in the motor industry for

over 30 years, Rob was involved in construction

and moved into car sales where he was Rovers

youngest sales manager, running a dealership at

only 21. Rob then went on to start his own car

business where he imported high end specialist

cars from Germany, which ultimately led to

him importing his first motorhome. This was

the start of the transition to specialising and

importing German motorhomes full time, what

is now known as Oaktree Motorhomes.

ALEX MCGONIGLEDIRECTOR

JUSTIN RICHARDSONDIRECTOR

Alex joined a Sussex motorhome company

in 1994 and built his way up from valetor to

technician. He then qualified as a Corgi gas

technician and passed many manufacturers

courses including gas safe.

Alex is a familiar face amongst the caravan

and motorhome sector having done 15 years

worth of sales at the NEC, Earl’s Court and

Excel London.

In 2010 Alex branched and set up AMC,

which is a leading motorhome service centre

in the south of England.

Alex also designed, manufactured and fits the

Unibrake Towing System.

Justin has 28 years of experience in the motor

industry, working for the likes of Aston Martin,

the Royal London Hospital response vehicle

repair division, Renault UK Ltd and he is also

a qualified technician in component testing.

Justin ran his own automotive computer

diagnostic company, before starting the

project of building electric powered

motorhomes in 2017.

Transporter Energy is the UK and European

division of the US company Dragonfly Energy.

As the sole distributor of these lithium-ion

batteries in the UK and Europe, we have a

wealth of knowledge and experience with these

products, as well as with the leisure industry.
