Last but not least it should be released on a open source license and have a worldwide, open & strong community around it.

Don't believe the hype!

● New Buzzwords all time! ● Marketing all over the places● Content Management is obsolete● Customer Experience Management● UX is the new● Everything will be mobile & connected● Nobody will use CMS anymore?● PHP is dead● NoSQL● Big Data

Believe in standards!

● Technically○ semantic web○ RDF/A○ microformats○ HTML5/CSS3

● Business wise○ Standardize your services○ Know the redline between standards and unique

feature requests ○ Observe Change○ Offer consultation and strategic guidance

Legacy & Heritage

● Some food for thoughts○ 75 days is the average "age" of a website○ "We redo our website every two years, no need to

keep the CMS updated"○ "TYPO3 CMS is the base of all our web operations"

● Its all about the right mix between innovation and conservatism○ Embrace the new and the force of destruction○ Learn to preserve the essence of your work
