You will lead on the delivery of an effective, responsive Infection Prevention & Control service, fully supported by our excellent Infection Control Team.

You will have proven leadership, people management and organisational skills to ensure a high standard of Infection Control service delivery, meeting all commitments for the HAI/HEI Infection Control agenda.

You will have significant infection control experience with a portfolio of evidence demonstrating knowledge in this specialised field, as well as experience of both project management and managing a team.

The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is national evidence based early intervention programme for first time mothers of 19 years and under from early pregnancy until the child is two. As part of the Scottish Government's commitment to expand the Family Nurse Partnership programme across Scotland we are delighted to have the opportunity to appoint 2 Family Nurse's to join our existing teams in Fife.

Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) has 3 sites across Fife and the successful candidate may be located at Cameron Hospital, Linburn Road Health Centre or Queen Margaret Hospital.

The Family Nurse Partnership post requirements are:

• First level registered nurse or midwife with current NMC registration.

• Professional knowledge acquired at degree level underpinning further specialist education and training such as Public Health Nursing/ Health Visiting, Mental Health or Paediatric Nursing. Please see the job description for further details on the post requirements.

• You should have understanding and practice experience of working with families in the community and knowledge of national and local polices in place to protect children. A working knowledge of Getting It Right For Every Child and legislation relating to children and young people are essential.

Interviews will be on the 27th and 28th of November. Please note as part of the FNP license, all shortlisted candidates have to be interviewed by FNP clients as well as attending a formal interview panel. If shortlisted you will be asked to attend on both interview dates.

You will have experience of service change and development and management of staff. You will have highly developed problem solving skills, flexibility and high-level communication skills. Ward 5 Queen Margaret Hospital consists of 30 inpatient beds. Patients are primarily transferred to the ward for rehabilitation however can also require complex discharge planning input. Ward 5 specialises in a MDT approach utilising a variety of disciplines to enable high person quality care to be provided at all times.

In addition to delivering excellent clinical skills in Whitefield, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the shaping of how services are delivered across Fife as community health and wellbeing hubs.

Whitefield Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre provide services to older and frail people in West Fife with a focus on early intervention and prevention of hospital admission. Clinics and sessions run from Monday to Friday provided by the team of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and doctors. You will lead the nurses in service delivery, professional development and will also have a key contributing role in shaping how community services in West Fife are to be delivered in the near future.

You must be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of leading and managing a team and of managing change. Excellent clinical nursing skills are also a requirement in relation to delivering clinical nursing pathways and leading future developments.

You will be based in Whitefield but will be required to be on the duty charge nurse rota for the hospital, and to work closely with the downstream wards and other community teams such as Hospital at Home.

The Fife Pain Management Service requires an experienced Nurse proficient in In-patient pain management to join their small team.

You must have substantial recent experience in the acute care setting. An up to date knowledge of evidence-based practice, an understanding of the delivery of an Inpatient pain management service, Epidural, PCA and IV Bolus competencies are essential. An MSc in Pain Management and/or qualified as an independent/supplementary prescriber would be desirable.

It is a busy nurse led service requiring assertiveness, good communication skills, team working and an ability to time mange the demands of this clinical role efficiently with a commitment to learning. Much of your working day will be spent travelling between client appointments across Fife.

We are looking to welcome a Locum colleague to join an enthusiastic, motivated and supportive team of 13 Consultant Emergency Physicians (10.5 WTE) to cover for one of our colleagues who is on maternity leave.

You will work in the Emergency Department at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, which opened in 2012. The department has an annual attendance of 67 000.

As an EM consultant group we believe strongly in providing a sustainable work/life balance. A PA is included for each on call. Clinical administration time has been factored in as per RCEM guidance. There is a 24 hour middle grade rota filled with a mixture of Trainees from the South East Scotland rotation, specialty doctors and clinical development fellows.

We perform well in key areas such as sepsis and stroke thrombolysis. We have an excellent relationship and collaborate closely with all in-patient teams. As a department we are committed to teaching and providing a positive experience of EM to our junior doctors. The Victoria Hospital has 290 beds and provides a wide range of surgical and medical services with excellent clinical support services. The newly refurbished ENT inpatient facility has 10 beds located alongside a purpose built out-patient and nearby audiology facility. Clinical commitments will be located in Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline.

Robust clinical and educational links have been established with the ENT Departments at Dundee and in Lothian. The post holder will be expected to take part in the on-call rota. ENT trainees rotate through Fife as part of the East of Scotland rotation and we have students from St Andrews and Dundee Universities.

Due to unfilled GPST training posts we have the opportunity to welcome 2 colleagues to join an enthusiastic, motivated and supportive Emergency Department team from 5th February to 4th August 2020. You will work in the Emergency Department at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, which opened in 2012. The department has an annual attendance of 67000.

The department includes an 8 bay resuscitation area, a 9 bay majors area, a 6 bay minors area and 2 paediatric consulting rooms. There is a dedicated Procedures room and a 6 bedded Emergency Medicine Observation Unit which admits primarily toxicology and head injury patients. There is access to electronic pathology and radiology ordering. Departmental guidelines, protocols and rotas are on the departmental intranet web pages. We perform well in key areas such as sepsis and stroke thrombolysis.

The Emergency Department has 24 hour senior doctor presence, with current shop floor consultant presence daily from 0800 to 2300. We have 4 GPwSI who deliver regular sessions in evenings and at weekends. There are daily ENP sessions to help with the minors flow.

There is a GP OOH service located in the hospital in the evenings and at weekends, allowing redirection of appropriate patients. A formal redirection policy is in operation.

There is a 24 hour ENP-led Minor Injuries Unit Located at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline which is clinically supported by the senior doctors in the Emergency Department.
