Youth Engagement Institute

The Freechild Project supports youth engagement. Our Youth Engagement Institute travels to communities across the United States and Canada to provide essential training and tools. It is for youth, youth workers, educators, parents, and others. Perfect for conferences, retreats, and more!

Section 1: Supporting Youth Engagement Focusing on reflection, practical tools, and meaningful activities, this section helps build your ability to support youth engagement. Participants in this section will be able to work more effectively with youth in a variety of settings.

Section 2: Fostering Cultures for Youth Engagement (4 hours) Learn to foster community and organizational cultures identify, support, challenge, and build youth engagement. After this section, participants will be able more effectively achieve program goals that need youth engagement, youth voice, and meaningful youth involvement.

Section 3: Creating Systems for Youth Engagement (6 hours) Policies, procedures, and outcomes are the focus of this section, helping organizaitonal leaders focus on doing things with youth. This section enables participants to identify what needs to change and how to change it within their organizations and throughout their communities.
