A Propeller Vehicle

Description:  Losing a wheel actually makes this car faster! The three-wheeled SideWinder has recorded average speeds over 25 miles per hour. The 20-inch car is light and aerodynamic, making it one of the fastest single-engine prop racers. The SideWinder features balsa wood build-up construction and can be designed with a CAD program.

When we first saw Richard Lawson's 9-Volt light in London at 100% Design last year it was such a beautiful, elegant and simple idea that we were instantly convinced. Unfortunately–as it was part of a competition for Mathmos–it wasn't chosen for production, as it wasn't the winner of the competition… Fortunately though we weren't the only ones to write about it and so the word spread and emails kept pouring in, convincing Mathmos, that this was a great idea and that it should go into production.

Amazing what wonders a little Velcro can do… This might solve the common 'honey, any idea where I put the …key' issue.

A very simple and very cute organizer for all the keys you have at home. Color coded Velcro and the appropriate spots on either silver or white metal make for a very straight forward and very graphic approach to keeping your keys in one place.

Lovely, especially for those of us with a tendency to 'loose' keys…

Snail actually follows the line!The 21st century is said to be the age of robotics. Tamiya explores this new trend with the release of an assembly robot snail. The Line Tracing Snail uses a special LED sensor to detect a black line (magic marker, etc.) drawn on a white background. It uses two small motors and rubber tires to slowly but surely move forward and turn. The body of the snail is made of transparent (HIPS) plastic to allow viewing of the intricate mechanisms inside.
