GENERAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME fOR AEROSPACE AND AviATiON ExECUTivES (GMAE)

The indian Aviation sector is poised for rapid growth. As the industry grows, we see the need for professionals who combine technical skills with managerial acumen to take up leadership roles in this sector. This programme meets the need for managerial resources for the Aerospace and Aviation sector.

International Partnership

GMAE is a part-time certificate programme for working professionals from the Aerospace and Aviation sector. The programme is being offered by iiMB in partnership with Toulouse Business School, france.

Participants who successfully complete the GMAE programme are eligible to pursue the Aerospace MBA being offered by TBS. Aerospace MBA is a two year programme delivered by both faculty members from TBS and iiMB together with industry experts from Aeronautics, Aviation, Space & Defence.

first year (Stage 1) of the programme is dedicated to Aerospace and Aviation Core Management and second year (stage 2) is dedicated to Aerospace and Aviation Sub-Sectors, Management Challenges and supervised projects.

This programme offers an optional week in Toulouse where participants are given the opportunity to study and also visit major aerospace companies.

The same programme is also delivered in Toulouse and it has study periods in Montreal (Canada) and Seattle (USA). Participants can then decide whether to study in Bangalore only or choose any combinations of these programmes and take the unique opportunity to study in Bangalore, Toulouse, Montreal and Seattle.

Successful participants will receive a certificate from iiMB and TBS for the General Management Programme for Aerospace and Aviation Executives at the end of the first stage and an Aerospace MBA from TBS after the completion of the second stage.

The GMAE certificate holders can choose to pursue the Aerospace MBA either immediately after completing the certificate programme or within 2-years of completing the Programme.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Participants will be selected based on the work and academic profiles. Attempt would be made to ensure greater diversity in the selected batch.

PROGRAMME DELIVERY

The programme will be conducted at iiMB.

ALUMNI

On successful completion of the programme, the participants are eligible to be admitted to iiM Bangalore Alumni association on a onetime payment of Rs 3000/.

PROGRAMME FEE

Programme fee is ` 5,75,000/- + Service Tax (applicable rates) per Participant which is payable in three installments as per schedule indicated.

The payment schedule is as follows:

` 2,35,000/- + Service Tax - i installment on admission

` 1,70,000/- + Service Tax - ii installment, 20 August 2015.

` 1,70,000/- + Service Tax - iii installment, 7 January 2016.

US $ 500 per participant is payable alongwith the first installment for those opting for the international immersion Week.
