Why the flag of United Kingdom is like this?The Union Jack or the flag of United Kingdom is like this because it symbolizes the patrons and flags of all their countries.

The red cross symbolizes St. George, the patron of England.

The white diagonal cross symbolizes the patron of Scotland, St. Andrew and finally, the red diagonal cross symbolizes St.Patrick the, patron of Northern Ireland. Wales is not represented.
