If you are to believe the NYT, this “art form” is in a “museum” which has been visited by only 2 humans. Ever. Where is this museum?

The art piece is actually small. About this small. For a reason.

Page 6: The Finals

Moon Museum is a small ceramic wafer three-quarters of an inch by half an inch in size, containing artworks by six prominent artists from the late 1960s. The artists with works in the "museum" are Robert Rauschenberg, David Novros, John Chamberlain, Claes Oldenburg, Forrest Myers, and Andy Warhol. This wafer was supposedly covertly attached to a leg of the Intrepid landing module, and subsequently left on the moon during Apollo 12. The moon museum is considered the first Space Art object.

Something is common to the way all these photos have been shot. All these were posted online on a Google+ page between April to June 2012. So what's special to the way they've been taken?

Page 12: The Finals

These were all taken using Google's new set of head-mounted devices that embed computing within spectacles (the project's called Project Glass). These glasses will let wearers take photos, overlay maps on the field of vision etc.

Page 13: The Finals

Where can you find this camera? People are surprised that this is just a 2MP camera.

In Jan/Feb 2012, Google hosted a conference to which were invited several leading technologists, scientists, and other innovators & entrepreneurs to discuss some of the world's most interesting & difficult problems. They called this an exercise in "moonshot thinking" i.e. solutions that are just beyond what is currently feasible but just enough within reality. Given the nature of the gathering (and that many videos were posted), the gathering drew comparisons with TED. The name chosen for this (and more are planned) is something that would often be the last line in an algebra problem. What?

This photo of Swedish model Lena Söderberg was shot for the November 1972 centrefold of Playboy. She has been dubbed “The First Lady of the Internet”. This cropped version of her photo has an extremely important significance in a field of computer science. Why?

Page 30: The Finals

‘Lena’ / ‘Lenna’ is the standard test image for testing any image processing algorithm. It was chosen at the spur‐of‐the‐moment during an experiment when the researchers needed a glossy image to test dynamic output range and wanted a human face. Since then, the convention has stuck.

“X” is an acronym for the phrase “Y”, which is often used as a hashtag on Twitter to bring attention to exciting events or excuse irresponsible behaviors. The acronym was popularized in 2011 after being featured in the hip hop single “The Motto” by Drake. UrbanDictionary defines X as: “The dumbass's excuse for something stupid that they did Also one of the most annoying abbreviations ever....” Guy 1: "Hey i heard that you broke ur leg falling off the balcony at that party" Dumbass 1: "Ya but hey X“ Identify X and Y. Hint-X as a meme is all over Facebook these days.

The following is an excerpt from a company's "About Us"

webpage. Just fill in the two blanks OR give me the

company’s name.

When we were kids we loved playing around

with cameras –

we loved how all the old Polaroid cameras

marketed themselves as '_____' (something

we take for granted today).

We also felt that the snapshots people were

taking were kind of like _____ in that they got

sent over the wire to others – so we figured

why not combine the two?

Same goes for the Peccable Peccary, Pawky Python and Perfidious Puku. So many bullets to dodge round here!” “Balancing all of those options, I think we have just the right mix in our designated mascot for ____ LTS. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the_____________.”

The Department of Motor Vehicles in Nevada recently granted a license to a Toyota Prius car. Ordinarily, this would have been a routine affair, but not in this case. This car was given the license plate number of "001". The license plate will be in red and sport the lemniscate symbol used to indicate "infinity". If you see this car whizzing past you, who would be driving it?

Page 82: The Finals

No one. This is the first ever driver-less car granted a license. Built by Google, this is an experimental car with a mounted camera and lots of artificial intelligence software.
