The Filipino Mentality. Our Constitution provides that t he State shall promote a just and dynamic social order that will ensure the prosperity and independence of the nation and free the people from poverty through policies that provide adequate social services, promote full employment, a rising standard of living, and an improved quality of life for all. It is painful to see news on how the Filipino people are suffering everyday for a lot of different reasons. Investment scams, inadequate modes of public transportation, inequality in taxation, health insurance scams and corruption are just some of the problems that we Filipinos have to deal with. While it is easy to blame the government for all our problems, one has to wonder why Filipinos have such a hard time looking at themselves as the root cause of such problems. Filipinos are known for a lot of bad habits some of which we should do away with immediately so that we could start rebuilding our country. As a democratic country, our laws are created by the people yet it is very surprising that we as a people have a general disregard for the law. There is no denying that everyday we see Filipinos from all walks of life break the law one way or another. From jaywalking or beating the red light to

Recently, news media outlets have been buzzing about investment scams duping Filipinos of billions of their hard earned money. Some even gave a history of the top ten biggest scams in our country. But one has to wonder, if investment scams have happened before then why are Filipinos still being duped and what is the government doing about it.

The now infamous investment scams are making rounds in the news and social media alike. Even the government is very concerned with the proliferation of such scams.
