Ayutthaya symbolises the most important era of the Thai history when between 1351 and 1767 a total of 35 kings from five different dynasties ruled.

Still today the ruins of the former royal town with its 375 magnificent temples remind of the splendid past.

We have named our agency “Sunshine Holidays Andaman” after the Andaman Sea, which belongs to the Indian Ocean.

In the Andaman Sea you will find a unique natural landscape with more than 800 islands in total, which is not like any other place on Earth.

For example, there are the famous islands of Phuket, Phi Phi Island and Koh Lanta, as well as the coastal regions of Khao Lak, Phang Nga and Krabi, which belong to most beautiful of our Earth.

The maritime national parks of the coastal waters of Thailand with their colourful coral reefs and blue lagoons are considered the most impressive of the world.

Crystal clear water, white beaches, as well as exotic animal species and plants make up this paradise.

In the Andaman Sea there are the gigantic limestone rocks, which originated millions of years ago.

These green rocks covered with tropical vegetation rise up to 300 metres from the sea and create a dream-like scenery.

One of best known islands is Phi Phi Island with its sickle bays and the famous beach of Maya Bay, where the film “The Beach” with Leonardo di Caprio was shot.

Another popular destination is the coastal region of Phang Nga with the famous James Bond Island, where the film „The man with the golden gun“ with Roger Moore was shot.

Scientists found that the coral reef of Phang Nga is one of oldest in the world.

The island of Phuket is an exotic and widely known popular holiday paradise with wooded mountain ranges, miles of long sandy beaches and emerald-green sea.

Sailors from all over the world meet here every year in December to take part in one of the best known regattas of South-East Asia with the King‘s Cup established since 1987.

Close to Phuket lies the national park of Similan Islands, one of the best diving districts worldwide, which is an unbelievable 65 million years old.

In these marvellous underwater gardens manta rays live, as do wale sharks that may reach up to 18 metres in length.

In Thailand you can relax not only on the beaches or in wellness oases. In all the regions of the country numerous national parks offer a huge number of activities.

Thailand has more than 100 national parks and more than 100 nature reserves. Discover the national park Khao Yai in the north of Bangkok, which has been declared a world heritage site by the UNESCO.

Especially the south of Thailand is rich in attractive national parks. In the province of Krabi there is the national park Thung Tieo, one of the last remaining lowland rain forests of Thailand.

You can explore amazing nature with mountains and primeval forests, caves and waterfalls as well as beaches, lagoons and coral reefs.

Relax in the hot springs of Krabi and have a massage under a rushing waterfall.

Ride on an elephant through the jungle and discover the coast of Phang Nga with a kayak tour or a sailing yacht.
