Our Mission: The mission of Faith Christian Academy is to serve families by providing a Christ-centered, college preparatory education that equips
students to become leaders by instilling a biblical worldvidw in the heart and mind of each student.
Welcome!
As a ministry of Faith Assembly of God
church, our vision is to ignite and grow in
the heart of each student a love for God
and a passion for continuous learning. We
believe that each child is gifted by the Lord,
and strive to invest in students the passion
to grow in their talents and to not retreat
before challenges.
We believe in the primacy of biblical unity.
Our leadership, faculty and staff, who love
Jesus Christ and are committed to the
ministry of the church and school, make
the vision become a reality. From providing
a safe and nurturing environment to
developing rigorous, cohesive and consistent
curriculum from the elementary to the high
school; from ministering the Word of God to
the discipleship of students to become godly
leaders; from college courses to diverse
sports and extracurricular programs – we
are committed to giving our students the
keys to success as they graduate from our
high school and face the journey that our
Lord has for them.
History of Faith Christian Academy
Faith Christian Academy began back in 1976
as Melody Land Nursery School, under Bettie
Damiani, the wife of Faith Assembly’s former
lead pastor Ellis Damiani. The school quickly
grew to include Pre-k through 8th grade, and
became Faith Christian Academy in 1981.
In the fall of 1987 Faith Christian Academy
relocated to its present location on
Spackenkill Road. The new facility created
the ability for the school to extend its
academics and extra-curricular activities.
In 1996, Wendy Wright became the principal
of Faith Christian Academy. FCA continued
to grow, adding additional subjects. FCA
expanded the athletic department and
developed extra-curricular activities.
In 2009 the high school of FCA was
launched. In 2011 Alexander Averin became
the headmaster of Faith Christian Academy
and in June 2012 Faith Christian Academy
graduated its first senior class.
Reaching the Community
Education is more than just learning about
facts and developing skills. In living out the
mission of FCA, we strive to teach students
about living holy lives and about serving
God by serving others in need. Students in
9th-12th grades are expected to complete
at least 16 hours of Christian service during
each year of high school. Students are
encouraged to seek service opportunities
within the school, church, local community
organizations, camps or mission fields.

Our Mission: The mission of Faith Christian Academy is to serve families by providing a Christ-centered, college preparatory education that equips
students to become leaders by instilling a biblical worldvidw in the heart and mind of each student.
Welcome!
As a ministry of Faith Assembly of God
church, our vision is to ignite and grow in
the heart of each student a love for God
and a passion for continuous learning. We
believe that each child is gifted by the Lord,
and strive to invest in students the passion
to grow in their talents and to not retreat
before challenges.
We believe in the primacy of biblical unity.
Our leadership, faculty and staff, who love
Jesus Christ and are committed to the
ministry of the church and school, make
the vision become a reality. From providing
a safe and nurturing environment to
developing rigorous, cohesive and consistent
curriculum from the elementary to the high
school; from ministering the Word of God to
the discipleship of students to become godly
leaders; from college courses to diverse
sports and extracurricular programs – we
are committed to giving our students the
keys to success as they graduate from our
high school and face the journey that our
Lord has for them.
History of Faith Christian Academy
Faith Christian Academy began back in 1976
as Melody Land Nursery School, under Bettie
Damiani, the wife of Faith Assembly’s former
lead pastor Ellis Damiani. The school quickly
grew to include Pre-k through 8th grade, and
became Faith Christian Academy in 1981.
In the fall of 1987 Faith Christian Academy
relocated to its present location on
Spackenkill Road. The new facility created
the ability for the school to extend its
academics and extra-curricular activities.
In 1996, Wendy Wright became the principal
of Faith Christian Academy. FCA continued
to grow, adding additional subjects. FCA
expanded the athletic department and
developed extra-curricular activities.
In 2009 the high school of FCA was
launched. In 2011 Alexander Averin became
the headmaster of Faith Christian Academy
and in June 2012 Faith Christian Academy
graduated its first senior class.
Reaching the Community
Education is more than just learning about
facts and developing skills. In living out the
mission of FCA, we strive to teach students
about living holy lives and about serving
God by serving others in need. Students in
9th-12th grades are expected to complete
at least 16 hours of Christian service during
each year of high school. Students are
encouraged to seek service opportunities
within the school, church, local community
organizations, camps or mission fields.
