The Everything £5 Clothes Shop

About a couple of decades ago I was in Japan for a much needed vacation and while strolling Tokyo,

a store caught my attention because many Japanese and foreigners alike are walking in and

out of the store.

The store was called “The Haku Yen Shop” and out of curiosity, I went inside and I can not help

myself not to ask an American who was shopping what’s the big sale all about.

I was a bit of surprise when he told me that every item in the store is sold for 100 yen!

Now, while browsing the internet, an online shop has also caught my attention and it reminds me of

the haku yen shop in Japan. Unlike the haku yen shop were they sell different

kind of goods such as tableware, kitchenware, tools, garden ware, stationary, household items

and leisure goods, this online shop offers women’s clothing and accessories.

And like the Haku Yen Shop where every item is 100 yen, this shop sells Everything £5.

The shop is called Everything £5 and they have a wide variety of women’s clothes such as dresses,

tops, skirts and shorts that are quite trendy.

They also have knitwear, jackets and coats that can be worn with leggings and trousers. Their line of footwear includes sandals, flip flops, moccasins,

trainer’s shoes and boots.

They also have lingerie and nightwear that are really hot. Accessories such as belts, hats,

jewellery, purses, umbrellas, scarves and gloves are really fashionable.

Aside from the ladies wear and accessories they also have bags and children’s wear.

And like the haku yen shop where they add a 5% consumption tax on each item, at Everything £5, the only additional charge that you will see is the

delivery charge. The delivery charge is calculated based on the

total weight of the item/s. doorsteps.

The site will show you how much the additional charge is when you checked out.

And one better thing about the delivery service is they will keep you posted on the status of your

goods.

This is done by sending you e-mails and it contains the whereabouts of the goods and when will it

arrive in your doorsteps.

I was wondering how these two shops can offer their goods for a fixed price.

Does it really matter? As long as I am getting my money’s worth on

each item, I don’t really care!
