This project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no ICT-611299 Abstract Stakeholders engagement and facilitating multi-actor and platform arrangements for different aspects of research and innovation has created high hopes and many pitfalls. In particular, many criticalities appear in those processes that are managed only online. Our project explored the topic of communities’ involvement by means of the combination of online and offline techniques. The experiments have been introduced by minipresentations held by experts, and continued with interactive debates involving the audience, where all could autonomously present their doubts and insights in a metaplan-like environment.
