One virtual machine with the chosen operating system

However, the Law Area of ESTIG/IPBeja is relying in alternative technologies, all of them bundled:

Or on quite new platforms, as the Learning Community we have in Orkut, the Social Network of Google:


We are also relying on Weblogs, but just for information / dissemination purposes

And now we’re considering the placement of classroom contents in YouTube…


Some technical questions:

1. Will the e-learning tools be the same in every Partner?

2. Will the learning modules all have the same design and format?

3. Will the interface be built multilingual from the beginning?

4. Will the interface and learning modules be prepared for students with special needs?


Proposed tasks – concerning the technical framework:

1. Install and administrate a mirror of the Virtual Shared Campus Website that will be available at with ISIK University

2. Assure that the Project complies with the best practices concerning the accessibility by persons with special needs


Proposed tasks – concerning the contents:

1. Prepare and test a learning module in English on the EC Electronic Commerce Regulations, at the Spring semester of the current School Year 2007/2008

2. Prepare and test a Computer Law Course (3 ECTS), in Portuguese, during the 2008/2009 School Year


Proposed tasks – concerning the contents:

Coordinate the preparation and testing of affiliated “learning modules”, in Portuguese, with Brazilian universities, during 2008, namely on:

Legal Informatics, by Professor Aires J. Rover at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis;

Intellectual Property, by Professor Carla Caldas Barros at the Federal University of Sergipe, Aracajú;

Data Protection, by Professor José Renato Cella at the Pontificial Catholic University of Paraná, Curitiba.

2. Collaborate in design of the International Law&ICTLaw Library

3. Collaborate in the design of the On-line Law&ICTLaw Encyclopaedia
