are back at school. We will go on

with the English Corner, which is

full of new things.

On September 16th we begin the new school year 2011-2012. We

started a course again, with new teachers (and other teachers not

so new),new colleagues new illusions and some new love.

As any beginning of the course we miss very much to all who are

gone, but is also new people, yet it seems that the first course are

smaller than the other years.

I hope this course continue very well, both for teachers and for

students.

MARIA´S LAST SUMMER, by María Ramón Sánchez (3ºA)

This summer, was one of the best summers in my life. Why? I don’t know, maybe because this summer I

have been with my family and friends. Now I’m going to tell you, the most important things of this summer ok?. At the beginning of the summer, I went with my friend Irene to the “Aquopolis” in Torre Vieja. Irene

and I were going to English classes with Charlotte, our teacher. In 19 of July, “La Chupipandi” went to Moncada again. We stayed in Moncada during 6 days. In this 6 days we had everything, smiles, tears, an-

gers, hugs but above all there were good times with my friends. When I went home, my life returned to be

the same. All nights I went to the park with my friends. As I say at the beginning of the text, this

summer is special for me, because this summer isn’t like other summers. At the beginning of July I

met a girl called Sofía, she is from France, and she

didn’t speak Spanish so we had to speak English. In August Irene went to France and she went up

the “Torre Eiffel” and she visited Disney Land. Some days my friends and I went to the beach to

La Manga. Like everybody, I had good moments and bad mo-

ments.

And this is my summer, I hope you like it.

SCHOOL TRIP TO LOS UR-

Last Tuesday, I went with my

friends and teachers to Los Ur-

ritias. This day was a great day

because we were together. We

left the high school at 8:30 am

and we arrive to Los Urritias at

10:00 am. When we arrive we

ate a sandwich and we took a

lot of photos. We played volley-

ball and at 12:30 we went to de

high school, we were very tired.

Last Friday 18th October,different games were organised to celebrate

Halloween at school:

sana. -When is your birthday?

My birthday is on 27th of July.

-Do you like English? Why?

Yes, I like English, because I like languages and make me remember when I was a child. -Tell us about yourself

I teach Spanish language. I like travelling and know new places.

-Do you like animals? Have you got any pets?

Yes, I like animals and I have got a little dog.

-Where were you born?

I was born in Oviedo, Asturias. -Have you got any brothers or sisters?

Yes, I have a sister and she is older than me. I have got a brother too. He is younger than

me. -Which languages do you speak?

I speak Spanish, Asturian and Italian. -What other languages would you like to learn?

I would like to learn English, French and Arabic. -Which countries have you visited?

I have visited Scotland, Italy, France, Switzerland and Portugal. -Which countries would you like to visit in the future?

I would like to visit in the future the Middle East of Europe and Nepal. -Why did you decide to be a teacher?

Because I like teaching and I like to see how the children grow up and become in good

adult people.

-When you saw us for the first time, what did you think about us?

I like the class very much.
