The principal activity of the Corporation is to provide Information, Entertainment and Education to the people of Zambia.
ZNBC TRANSMISSION
ZNBC transmits across three Radio channels namely Radio 1, Radio 2, and Radio 4 and two Television channels namely ZNBC-TV and TV2. Radio 1 broadcasts in seven local languages namely Bemba, Lozi, Kaonde, Lunda, Luvale, Nyanja and Tonga.

ZNBC has presence on Facebook and Twitter with a following of close to 40,000 people
Platform used for external communication and feedback channel
Digital Migration will provide a platform for greater use of new media

ZNBC runs hourly news bulletins on radio and 2 hourly on TV2
Plans are underway to start live streaming
