Dear Staff and Parents of our Sacred Heart School Community,
This week Mrs. Brown has shared with you that she will not be returning next year and this news naturally
brings many questions and surfaces various emotions. I take this moment to first thank Mrs. Brown for all the
good she has accomplished during her years with us – and indeed there has been much accomplished under her
leadership. I also respect the need for change in our school as we move forward and continue striving for
excellence in all we do for our students.
In late February or early March, we will begin a search for the next principal to continue the good work at
Sacred Heart Catholic School for the benefit of all of our students. I will work together with the Catholic
Schools Office to collect input from staff and parents identifying the qualities we want in our next leader. I will
also be forming a search committee to work with through the interview process and the selection of our next
principal.
Let us pray for one another during this transition knowing that change is often difficult.

Middle School students will be making bags for chemotherapy patients on Tuesday of Catholic Schools Week.
PLEASE DONATE $5 Donations may be turned in to homeroom teachers or placed
in the donation box at morning assembly. Donations collected will be used to buy the items
needed for the bags
