Welcome! Janiece Owens
7th and 8th Grade Math Teacher I am very excited to be a part of this amazing school
family. All of the faculty, staff, parents, and students have made me feel so welcome. My husband (Todd) and I have three children, two boys (Christian and Cardin) and a girl (Cherish) and we have two dogs and a cat. We are a hugely diverse SEC family; for example, I am a Tennessee Volunteer, my husband is an Auburn Tiger, my oldest son is a Florida Gator, my middle son is a Georgia Bulldog, and my daughter could care less about football! Football season is our favorite time of year! I love to spend time with my family and friends swimming, fishing, and playing games. My favorite color is that beautiful green you see when you come into MES. I look forward to a wonderful year full of learning!
Students will be participating in a Mock
Election on November 1st as the
candidates, along with their running
mates, spouses, and secret service, try
to persuade you to vote for their party.
