Contents
As a systematic project, road traffic safety has to do with a number of factors such as “human being, vehicle, road, environment and management”, etc.
Preventing traffic accidents and reducing casualties resulting from road traffic accidents is a common challenge facing the world.
As a developing country, China is currently at the early development stage of motorization with human quality, road condition and management skill, etc.

4 Countermeasures for preventing road traffic accidents
Strengthen education of traffic participants to improve the traffic safety awareness of the public, especially the safety awareness of the drivers.
Continuously improve and perfect the road traffic safety management skills.
Standardize the highway transportation market. Address the traffic safety problems by relying on modern
science and technologies, push forward the application of technical means in prevention of accidents, and standardize driving behaviors of the drivers.
