What a beautiful evening, just nice sitting and chatting to friendly members and watching the sun set.

Two members spent the day travelling to Sydney and back, then made the effort to attend the run, well done!! That's what I call dedicated members. Billy Goat hill, sorry Bellevue Hill, was looking lovely and

Car Display & Car Boot-Ute-Trailer Swap Event

On the week end of the 25th- 26th March 2017 Cowra will hold their Relay for Life Event, the CAVC have a team with BIG hearts who are trying to raise much needed funds to assist this worthy cause.

Our team plan to run a Car Boot-Ute-Trailer swap event as well as a Car Display on Sunday 26th

February

2017 at the Cowra Railway Station. As this is our usual club open day at the station, you will have the opportunity to have a tour of the station too. The swap event will be limited to automotive related items only , DEFINEATLEY NO BRIC-A-BRAC!!

So if you have some Spare Parts, Tyres, Caps, Car Signage, Tee Shirts or anything automotive, please ring Charlie 0458043541 or Carmel 0409939241 to enter for the day. The cost is $10 per Car/Ute/Trailer, free admission for the public.

Please note, you will need to bring a big umbrella or shade tent as we have ample space but no shade!!!

A Sausage sizzle will be available, also cold drinks, tea, coffee to purchase on the day with proceeds going to Relay for Life Cowra. Without your support this will be a one off event where hopefully we will cover our costs BUT WITH YOUR SUPPORT it can be a successful event which we may be able to run again at a future date. 1. Called to investigate issues from Kevin Broads statements from December Meeting. a. Kevin outlined the issues that this was to be solely about Kevin Broads December actions

2. Kevin asked has everybody read the letter. 3. Kevin Broads apologies – on a prior booked Holiday 4. Kevin’s explanation

a. Russell explained that he didn’t think it was a good idea for him to write this as it could be taken as being prompted.

b. Kevin recorded his thoughts which was saved to a disc and this was played in its entirety 5. Any further Discussion or contributions

a. Charlie asked for a copy of the disc to play to the person Kevin Mentioned – Russell responded NO! that only Kevin can give permission

b. Charlie insisted that the person is not related to him or Sharon

c. Discussion became heated at times and Kevin had to cut some people off. d. John Mooney moved “No action be taken” e. Ian Reid got up and spoke about the continual back-fighting and backstabbing within the club, member

since 1996 and had not seen the likes of this backstabbing in all these years. Other club in Cowra knows exactly what is going. Ian suggested those backstabbing should go join the other.

f. Bob Grimshaw spoke on how childish it had become. g. Derek Brown spoke on his thoughts and put up the motion “that no action be taken “
