The Cove Atlantis Luxurious Adult-Style Escape

Though there are many different accommodation complexes spanning Atlantis Paradise Island, each with

unique themes, if you’re planning to visit sans children, the best tower to choose is The Cove Atlantis. The complex is not officially “adult-exclusive”, but neither is it particularly appealing to little ones since it is very Zen, upscale, calm and cosmopolitan. Their latest luxury addition, The Cain Pool, is definitely adult-only and completely exclusive to guests staying at that tower. And it’s so much more than just a pool – it’s a happening! I stayed at The Cove Atlantis just after the pool opened. My accommodations were inviting – a split-level suite with deluxe everything and fabulous ocean view. But as soon as I settled in I could sense (hear) that there was something lively going on below me near the beach. With beats coming from the pool area, I had to go and check out the scene. Once there I was wowed by the action: bouncing throngs of beautiful bodies and just as beautiful staff partying around multi levels of water and bars and even outdoor gaming tables. It was Vegas meets South Beach. The Cain area also opens up onto its own beach, and they offer ritzy private cabanas ($750 a day) for VIP parties. Oprah rented one when she visited. It’s not for everyone – I found the music a little overwhelming at first – but after a few signature cocktails you’ll surely find your inner party animal surfacing. A big perk of staying at The Cove is their superior beachside amenities and service. Cold cocktails and snacks are merely a hand-wave away while you lounge back in semi-shaded, well-cushioned lounges on a private part of the island’s soothing white sands. And inside the tower, their trendy cocktail and tapas lounge, Glass, also has its own mini-casino.

The gorgeous grounds at The Cove are also worth a mention. Lush gardens of greenery and streams and waterfalls wind through the entire property, and the waters are filled with big, bright tropical fish. This is a definitely an escape geared for adults. Visit: www.atlantis.com.
